nurmberg-18.jpg - Mauthalle (Toll Hall), built between 1498-1502 by Hans Beheim the Elder as an Imperial Corn Store. In 1571 the City's Toll and Weights and Measures Office moved in. In 1897 it was converted into a shop and commercial building, it was destroyed by the allies in 1945 and reconstructed in simplified form between 1951-1953.
